Controlled environment kings strengthen ranks further with the addition of sales queen Daisy Friend.
GUARDTECH CLEANROOMS have continued their recent trend of expanding the business by recruiting a new Business Development Manager.
Daisy Friend follows the recent additions of Quality Lead Martin Sewell, Financial Controller Heidi Utley and Marketing Manager Joe Shackley.
Ms Friend arrives at the Haverhill firm with a strong background in sales and project management, with her most recent role being the same position at Jet2Holidays 鈥� the UK鈥檚 second-largest tour operator.
As well as a spell at Guardtech鈥檚 local neighbours Screenworks, Ms Friend was responsible for co-ordinating laboratory refurbishment and equipment sales at Interfocus 鈥� and so she鈥檚 ready to build on her experience in the medical device sector.
鈥淚鈥檓 really enjoying my new role at Guardtech,鈥� she said. 鈥淭he whole team have been super helpful and made me feel welcome from day one.鈥�
Guardtech offer a range of products and services, from turnkey construction cleanroom projects to smaller-scale modular cleanroom builds and self-assembly ISOPOD controlled environments.
And Ms Friend is particularly keen to build on the company鈥檚 recent success in supplying their range of CleanCube mobile testing units and portable labs 鈥� which are proving critical in the UK鈥檚 tussle with the Covid-19 pandemic.
